a multifaceted music artist and entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for hip-hop. His journey began at the age of 15 when he started writing raps in high school, often daydreaming about making his mark in the music industry. Early in his career, he performed under the alias Pumpkinstubbz and attempted to establish himself through Romulan Goo Ent, an independent venture that never fully materialized.
After stepping away from music in 2012 to navigate personal challenges, including struggles with alcohol, he rediscovered his artistic drive in 2021. Inspired by a successful birthday event featuring performances from J-Tek The Utah Konnect, he reignited his music career and reinvested in a home recording studio.
P-Stubbz801 has also made waves as a former contracted comedian with Up Live and a notable presence on LiveMe. His outspoken nature led to controversy when he released The One & Only, a diss track produced by DJ Hoppa, which addressed issues within the live-streaming community. The interactive lyric video sparked debate and ultimately resulted in his ban from the platform.
His influences span across legends such as 2Pac, Garth cultiVader (RIP), Blimes, Reverie, Futuristic, SwizZz, Tech N9ne, and Potluck, among others. With a relentless work ethic and a commitment to authenticity, he continues to build his legacy in the hip-hop scene.
Kevin became actively involved with SDBG Studios in late 2021, bringing his leadership and financial expertise to the company. As Co-Founder, Director of Operations, and Financial Secretary, he plays a vital role in managing the label’s growth and funding its initiatives.
Although new to the music industry, Kevin’s long-standing friendship with Tyler and their shared vision for independent artistry have driven his commitment to SDBG Studios. His passion for artists like Muck Sticky, Rittz, and Tom MacDonald fuels his dedication to the label’s success.
With a focus on long-term growth, Kevin is devoted to ensuring that SDBG Studios will thrive for generations to come.
SDBG Studios was founded by Jacob Finney and Kevin Tyler Jepperson, originally emerging as a live-streaming community known as Smokey Da Bear Gang (SDBG). Established on a livestreaming platform where Jake was a host, the group was dedicated to advocating against pedophilia, bullying, cyberbullying, and online misconduct.
As time went on, the name and direction evolved, but today, its mission remains the same: to provide a platform that fosters creativity, advocacy, and a supportive community while maintaining its core values of authenticity, integrity, and online safety.
